Last weekend welcomed the first Autumn Challenge Gala in memory of Richard O'Leary, past chairman and Master swimmer of the March Marlins Swimming Club.

29 Marlins PBs in 1st rd of JFL

Marlins hosted the first round of the Junior Fenland League at Whittlesey on Saturday and the team spirit was phenomenal considering that, for many of the swimmers, this was their first competitive gala.
 
Jessica Shaw and Aiden Gray smashed club records. There were first places for Ciara Mason and Millie Pearce.
 
Some 29 personal best times were achieved by: Tomas Pranauskas, Jessica Shaw, Max Grigorjev, Charles Pooley, Olivia Tunley, Georgia Ambrose, Daniel Bradshaw, Lucie Cross, Alfie McIntyre, Daniela Sarkovica, Millie Pearce, Gabriel Gritsenko, Alison Peacock, Phoebe-Rose Gardiner Hubbard, Amey Wilson, Jessica Tull, Aiden Gray, Deanna Rayner, Sophie Tunley, Saule Majauskis, Tilly Carter-Kitchingman, Ciara Mason, Lily-Rose Keenoy and Rosie Beningfield. 
 
Well done to all other swimmers including Molly McGowen, Hayden Courten, Louis Beningfield, Leigha-Rose Slyfield and Adam Twiddy.
