Marlins PB galore at Deepings JFL

March Marlins were once again in action, in the 4th round of the JFL at The Deepings and gained another 18 PBs. Once again, swimmer Nat Cook led the way on the night, taking first place in the 50m Freestyle and 2 third places with new PB’s in 50m and 25m butterfly. He was ably supported by second placed swimmers; Graham Shaw 50m Freestyle and new PB and 50m backstroke; Katerina Saikovskaja 50m freestyle and a new PB. Third places went to; Kahra Cottam 4x25 Ind/Medley; Katie McGowen 50m backstroke, 50m butterfly and 50m breaststroke; Megan Tombs 50m freestyle and a new PB; Alfie McIntyre 50m breaststroke and a new PB. Hugo Bryant 50m backstroke and a new PB; Liam Cole 50m breaststroke and a new PB and Jacob Halls 50m breaststroke.
Other PB’s broken on the night were; Graham Shaw 4x25 Ind/Medley; Liam Cole 50m freestyle; Jemma Tombs 50m freestyle; Alfie McIntrye 50m freestyle and 50m backstroke; Megan Tombs 50m freestyle and 50m backstroke and Amey Wilson 25m butterfly.
Other swimmers taking were; Sam Vardon; Daniela Sarkovica; Lydia Gray; Amber Freshwater; Gemma McGowen; Amelia Wallis and Rebecca Page-Mitchell.
The Marlins now take a well earned rest from competition swimming until September.
