59 PBs and 3 regional times at Newmarket Meet

A mammoth 59 personal bests, 3 regional qualification times reached and 3rd place in the visiting club results was the conclusion of the Newmarket Open Meet last weekend for the March Marlins Swimming Club.
A full weekend of swimming saw Connor Rickard and Rebecca Jordan gain personal bests in all their races with Weronika Mikolajewska taking 8 best times out of her 11 races. Mikolajewska collected 7 golds in addition to her success. Thea Hanley and Una Ansone both came away with 7 personal best times plus medals. First places also went to Chloe Cook, Sam Smith, Reece Simpson, Olivia Tunley and Tom Hanley. Tom went on to achieve his first Regional qualification time for 50m breaststroke along with Luke Ruggles for the 100m breaststroke and Una Ansone for the 100m backstroke. Also achieving personal best times were Olivia Tunley, Theo Liversedge, Harry Smith, Chloe Cook, Reece Simpson, Luis Souto Hill, Luke Ruggles, Tom Hanley and Molly McGowen.
Also competing were Harry Rayner, Hannah Jordan and Dan Riches.
