Today 9 year old Marlins swimmer Harry Copeman swam 5 miles (320 lengths) at the George Campbell swimming pool to raise money for the Meningitis Research Foundation.
Harry contracted Pneumococcal Meningitis at just 3 months old and spent 3 weeks in hospital whilst doctors battled to save his life.
Harry swam it in a fantastic time of 4 hours. Also a big thanks to fellow Marlins swimmer Nat Cook who swam along side for part of the swim. If you would like to give to this great cause please click on the link below. Well done Harry.
