Marlins in 3rd round JFL at Newmarket

Swimmers from March Marlins swimming club competed in the 3rd round of the JFL competition at Newmarket Leisure Centre this weekend against clubs from Boston, Godmanchester, Cambridge and Peterborough. 

4 swimmers achieved 2nd places on the night; Katie McGowen 50m Breaststroke and a new PB and 50m Butterfly; Nat Cook 50m Freestyle and a new PB; Kahra Cottam 50m Freestyle and Jacob Halls 50m Breaststroke.

6 swimmers achieving  3rd places were; Daniela Sarkovica 50m Breaststroke and a new PB; Siobhan Halliday 50m Freestyle and a new PB; Liam Cole 50m Breaststroke and a new PB; Sam Vardon 50m Backstroke; Katie McGowen 50m Backstroke and 50m Freestyle and Jack Tremain 50m Breaststroke.

Personal Best’s were also beaten on the night: Jack Tremain 4x25m Ind/Medley, new PB; Gemma McGowen 4x25m Ind/Medley, new PB; Jacob Halls 50m Freestyle, new PB; Sam Vardon 50m Breaststroke, new PB; Nat Cook 50m Backstroke, new PB; Rebecca Page-Mitchell 50m Backstroke, new PB; Bridie Baxter 50m Freestyle, new PB and Daniela Sarkovica 25m Butterfly, new PB.

Other swimmers taking part on the evening were: Molly McGowen, Jake Hoy, Lydia Gray, Amber Freshwater and Graham Shaw.
